1. Who we are

Belgian Comedy Network (“BCN”, “we”, “us”) produces English-language stand-up comedy events in Belgium.

3. Why we use it

Friday List — consent (double opt-in confirmation email)
Run events & answer enquiries — contract / legitimate interest
Site analytics (optional cookies) — consent (cookie banner Accept)
Deliverability — legitimate interest (keep mailing lists clean)

4. Friday List — double opt-in

We add your email to Listmonk as unconfirmed.
Listmonk sends a confirmation email from info@belgiancomedynetwork.com via Amazon SES.
Only after you confirm do we send the weekly Friday List.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We honour unsubscribes immediately.

5. How long we keep data

Friday List (active): until you unsubscribe
Friday List (unsubscribed): suppressed — not mailed again
Analytics: per GA4 / Clarity retention settings
Ops mail: as needed for bookings; archived when done

6. Processors we use

Amazon SES (email delivery, EU) · Listmonk (newsletter lists) · Google Analytics · Microsoft Clarity · Meta · Eventbrite / Fienta · Vercel / Cloudflare (hosting & DNS). We use data processing agreements where required.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

You may access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or port your data, and withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe — no need to contact us).

You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA): dataprotectionauthority.be

8. Cookies

Essential: site function, consent choice storage.

Analytics (optional): GA4, Clarity — only after Accept on the cookie banner.

Third-party embeds: Eventbrite/Fienta checkout may set cookies on their domains. Decline on the banner limits analytics cookies; ticket checkout may open in a new tab.

9. Changes

We update this page when our practices change. Material changes to the Friday List will be communicated where required.
